Company Information:

Cadexterity Incorporated was started in 1997, in Santa Clara, CA. The founding idea of the pre-IPO startup was to provide a revolutionary solution to the IC industry's Compuater Aided Design software problems.
Our Mission
Is to solve the full-custom IC design dillema, and to support the semiconductor industry's critical need for reducing cost and time-to-market through revolutionary design tools.
Our Philosophy
Is to solve this problem in the most fundamental manner. Rather than deal with a constrained subset of the problems.
Our Goal
Is to minimize die-size, optimize performance, and to greatly speed time to market.
Our Method
Is Innovation. Creating a Graphical User Friendly Interface to easy useability and speed production

Contrary to its original intent of "Computer Aided Design," CAD tools, in many cases, have become "Computer Against Design" tools.

More often than not, these tools are counter-intuitive. What used to take a simple pen stroke on a piece of paper will sometimes require major effort navigating through complicated menu structures.

To designers, these unnecessary steps serve as road blocks which constantly interrupt their creative thought processes.

The inevitable results are low productivity, compromised circuit performance, oversized dice and slow time-to-market.

Instead of submitting to and being victimized by these compromised tools - as most designers have - Cadexterity has solved these problems with innovation and hard work.

The result is a suite of simple and elegant solutions based on natural human intuition. Instead of fighting against them, designers will find these tools natural extentions of their intelligence and creativity. Because of this, designing will become fun and enjoyable, productivity will skyrocket and - most importantly - optimal circuit performance, minimum die size and fast time-to-market can all be achieved concurrently.
